Recommended Room Size Requirements

This chart will help you choose the table size that is best for your playing area.  The standard cue length is 58”, and the standard 4’ x 8’ (44” x 88” playfield) is by far the most popular table size for home use.  In the Charleston area, however, most pool leagues play on regulation bar tables which are 3.5’ x 7’ tables.  If you have any questions about room dimensions, cue length, or table size, please give us a call, and we will be happy to assist you.

Please note that there are three dimensions listed for each size table.  If your room size is marginal, a shorter cue may be used for some shots to prevent hitting a wall, or you may prefer the next smaller size table.  If you are unsure, please ask us to assist you with your decision.

Any pool table whose length is twice its width is considered regulation. We sell only regulation pool tables conforming to BCA*** specifications.
